   A few days ago the company Intel has updated its price list. The manufacturer continues to gradually get rid of the 65-nm products - now disappeared from the range of once-popular Intel Quad Core Processor 2 Quad Q6600. This is not a surprise, the chip is already quite old by the standards of processor industry, and should give way to young.
At present, a family of quad-processor Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Quad Low Power models include:

  • Q9650 (3 GGts/12 MB L2/1333 MHz FSB) - $ 316;
  • Q9550 (2, 83 GGts/12 MB L2/1333 MHz FSB) - $ 266;
  • Q9400 (2, 66 GHz/6 MB L2/1333 MHz FSB) - $ 213;
  • Q9300 (2, 5 GHz/6 MB L2/1333 MHz FSB) - $ 266;
  • Q8300 (2, 5 GHz/4 MB L2/1333 MHz FSB) - $ 183;
  • Q8200 (2, 33 GHz/4 MB L2/1333 MHz FSB) - $ 163;
  • Q9550S (2, 83 GGts/12 MB L2/1333 MHz FSB) - $ 369;
  • Q9400S (2, 66 GHz/6 MB L2/1333 MHz FSB) - $ 320;
  • Q8200S (2, 33 GHz/4 MB L2/1333 MHz FSB) - $ 245.
In addition, in order to enhance promotion of ULV-platform devices ultramobilnyh Intel decided to substantially reduce the price CPU Celeron M 723 ULV. Its price in bulk fell from $ 161 to $ 107, or about 34%. Remember, this chip operates at a frequency of 1, 2 GHz, has a megabyte cache and the second level is determined by the 65-nm production methods.
The other positions remained unchanged.
