Samsung Electronics ranked second with a market share of 22, 5%, with sales of 3, 24 million units - is at 1, 07 million more than in 2007. The third was the company LG Electronics (2, 4 million, 16, 7%), fourth - Hitachi (0, 66 million pieces, 4, 6%), fifth - Visio (0, 58 million pieces, 4, 0 %). For sales in monetary terms, plasma TVs on the market in 2008, Panasonic leader with 38 shares, 6%. This is followed by Samsung with 23 shares, 5%, LG Electronics (15, 0%), Pioneer (5, 8%) and Hitachi (4, 4%).
