   The representatives of the companies Huawei Technologies and Intel announced the launch of a new laboratory for testing WiMAX equipment for interoperability.
The laboratory is equipped with infrastructure and WiMAX solutions set to Huawei and Intel. For the tests, it simulates a real environment, which helps to create commercially reasonable, mature and quickly implemented solutions for WiMAX operators.
The company Huawei has provided equipment - Base stations (BS, Base Station) WiMAX DBS3900, received a certificate Wave2 Forum WiMAX Forum, ASN-GW (Access Service Node Gateway) and a CSN. Specialists Intel installed in the laboratory range of devices based controllers WiMAX, including the adapter Intel WiMAX/Wi-Fi Link 5050 series for laptops with hardware platform Intel Centrino 2, as well as equipment for testing the compatibility and productivity solutions. Recall that the cooperation of Huawei and Intel WiMAX development began in 2005.
