intel pentium, core 2 quad q8300 and core 2 duo e7400/e7500 get support vt   The company Intel announced its intention to modify their processors Core 2 Quad Q8300, Pentium E5300 and E5400, Core 2 Duo E7400 and E7500. A key feature of the updated chips will be adding support for virtualization technology Intel Virtualization Technology (VT).
The first samples of the data processor with Intel VT will be available from 25 May to 5 June. Customers can expect a massive supply of updated chips in mid-July. To support these processors users will need to update your motherboard BIOS.
Note, VT are already supported by many processors Intel Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad, but the model E5300 and E5400 will be the first of a family of Pentium technology virtualization.
