Known marketing company Jon Peddie Research (JPR), which specializes in consultation and IT-market studies, published a regular report on the market situation, 3D graphics, prevailing on the results end of the second quarter of 2008.
The most interesting in terms of the overall development of world industry is to assess the graphics market forecasts on upcoming stagnant global economy. Take at least the second quarter results, which annually slight decrease sector activity schedules. What`s curious to note this year, according to Jon Peddie Research, GPU sales decline compared with the first quarter amounted to supply the entire 0, 5%, which is one of the best indicators over the past eight years. In other words, may be somewhere and a recession, but not in the market of computer graphics.
