In a research unit of Microsoft Research have developed an application allowing users to post files from home computer on the Internet, using social networks. Thus, other users of these networks can get remote access to information on a computer placed its rights. Social Desktop Application is thus a bridge between two different models of access to files. Users can easily access the web access to your photos or videos posted on your local hard drive.
To implement the Social Desktop to use Silverlight, so that for such a function would have to establish an appropriate addition. So far, the development is under study and is actually a prototype for public use have not yet been designed.
