According to the manufacturer, the new flash drives geared for use in high-priority applications in the banking sector and financial industry, where the operation should be carried out of a second. New items can handle approximately 6-10 thousand transactions per second. The key difference from the predecessor is the increased disk space.
Models Symmetrix DMX-4 with the new drives are already available on the market. Updated CLARiiON and Celerra systems will go on sale later this year.
